Bombarded with distorted
images,
struggling to unveil the make-believe,
confused by the constant din,
numb to others and within our own selves,
we have all become refugees in our own homes and landsrefugees
from the flashy and treacherous dealers of the images
who have controlled us since the dawn of Kings, Queens,
Shikhs and Sahabs.
In times like these where the future too is so unclear,
Art and Culture become essential means of bringing about
communication, feeling, and understanding.
